Once upon a time I laid
Wondering why the world was built this way
I thought of all the hurt and pain
Why everything seemed done in vain
I cursed the world most all the time
As if the soil had done the crime
I blamed the him, the her, the them
Instead of looking deep within
It wasn't til I glowed with grace
Til Christ, He found me in this place
He opened up my eyes to see
The answer's found inside of me
Now instead of asking why it is
It's time to look at where I fit
How can I help change the world
And break the grasp the devil holds
Every ounce and every inch
Will prove to make the difference
Through Christ I know I have the strength
To break the mold, to make a change
