Maybe we've been broken
And maybe we've been down
Maybe we've felt all alone
Like there's no one else around
Maybe life's been bittersweet
Or it just seemed so unfair
Maybe we've felt abandoned
Left gasping for more air
Maybe we'll find comfort in
A temporary fix
Maybe it will hide the pain
With empty lies and tricks
Or maybe we could turn to someone
That perfect, pure, and true
Someone that will heal our pain
And fix us through and through
Surely He will help us all
If we only let Him in
Surely He will save our souls
From all the wicked sin
Surely most are blind to this
And we should help them see
What Christ has done for everyone
For even you and me
Surely Christ will save them too
For this I must attest
Those I know who once were weary
The Lord has given rest
