Who gives us every sight and sound?
Who shows us perfect, lasting love?
Our Savior, the Spirit, our Father above.
Who makes us strong when we are weak?
Who knows all words before we speak?
Who gets the praise we shout, scream, and sing?
Christ the Redeemer, our glorious King.
Who gave us life, not just once, but twice?
Who gave away His and forever paid the price?
Who came to die for the broken and the flawed?
Jesus, the Lamb, the only Son of God.
So let me ask this...
What will you do the next time you are down,
Feeling beaten and broken, like you're starting to drown?
What will you think when you feel all alone,
And the silence alone chills you right to the bone?
Will you look to the world to pick you back up?
The same world that says, when in pain, just shut up.
Will you find what you need? Will it all go away,
If you continue to live the way that you do on this day?
Now let me say...
I must tell you the truth on this earth there is not,
One single thing that can cure what you've caught.
You were born into sin, so you're sick and infected
Made in God's image, but never truly connected.
So God gave us a Savior so that all could be saved
From the wicked which all have become so enslaved.
And if you choose to accept that which was given
You'll be saved, born again, found, and forgiven.
Now the silence you've heard and the pain that you've felt
And everything wrong that you feel you were dealt
Its long gone, far away and replaced with a love
A love that could only come from our Father above.
You know what is waiting and now you're awake.
So why are you waiting and why must you debate?
Accept Christ as your Savior and wipe clean your slate
And find out for yourself why our God is so great.
