Don't Worry About Tomorrow

The burdens always lie in wait
Each and every day I do so wake
Hidden by the dark of night
Revealed upon the morning light

My head it pounds intensely so
As the burdens they do seem to grow
As shadows creep on to the wall
I feel that I have given all

This is when I fill with sorrow
Thinking about what waits tomorrow
The weight increases all the more
As I sit there staring at the floor

This is when I need the most
The power of the Holy Ghost
When more I feel I could not ache
I remember then what Christ had spake

Jesus said, "don't worry about tomorrow,
it will worry about itself."

inspired by Matthew 6:34
