Look beyond your worldly eyes
Past your selfish useless cries
Beyond the wants and all desire
Rooted in the dark and dire
Close your eyes, you need them not
For what you need cannot be sought
It can't be found with those two eyes
You trust so much, that tell you lies
Make no mistake you need them, though
To clear the path that you must go
But walk this path by faith, not sight
In this, the LORD, He will delight
